I had experience the worst when it comes to the law. I was looking at a 2nd DUI with Injury (Felony) and was by far the scariest moment in my life. I was calling around different attorney offices and not a single one had the decency to take the time to speak with me. I called a good friend of mine and he mention to give Ron Hoffman a call.
When I called his office and spoke to Joanie who made me feel VERY comfortable over the phone by the way. Not even 10 minutes goes by and I already was getting a call from Ron Hoffman and I spent over an hour with him over the phone. My heart was beating so fast but after talking with Ron, my nerves began to calm down. He was very professional not only regarding the law but in life. He guided me through the whole entire process and we had both worked together on this case.
It took the DA 3 months to file the charges and originally the charges should of been a Felony but Ron got them to drop it to a Misdemeanor right off the bat which was huge deal. That right there (My Friend) is impressive because if it was not easy by any means for Mr.Hoffman, I literally would of been screwed over by simply going with a public defender.
The next step was getting me into DUI court and Mr. Hoffman negotiated to the DA since he thought it would be a good fit for me. Not only did we go and find out that they would not accept me in DUI court because of my charge (23153) DUI with Injury and both Harbor and Westminster courts in (Orange County). So far it has been 12 months dealing with this case.
Here it is the last and final attempt to try and work out a deal. Mr.Hoffman does the Unthinkable and got the DA to drop my charges from a (23153) DUI with Injury to a (23152) Regular DUI. That is really amazing because it is not an easy task to pull off a move like that. I was orginally looking at doing 240 days in jail to him dropping it down all the way to 75 days in jail. Yes I know this is not idea but it is better than the other alternatives the DA was wanting.

Ron Hoffman and his staff were Fantastic when dealing with such a serious issue of DUI. When I first Called Ron I was very nervous and worried for my daughter and her freedom. She had a failure to appear on top of her DUI and I knew just how bad this could be. Ron was able to immediately put me at ease and gave me the confidence that there was hope and a light at the end of the tunnel. Ron was able to get the failure to appear dismissed and also no jail time for my daughter. Ron Gave Great guidance and walked us through the process to a conclusion that my daughter an I was completely happy with. No Jail equals happy parent! That was not the end of my daughter's dealings with the legal system. She got another DUI before the first one went to trial that was not filed until Attorney Ron Hoffman got the first DUI Resolved. In addition Ron had to deal with another serious legal issue that was running almost concurrent with the DUI which looked really bad and was bad. I again knew how bad this could be. Jail was almost guaranteed. But again My Attorney Ron Hoffman with his experience and tremendous relationships that he has developed with the District Attorneys and Judges in Southern California along with his Legal Knowledge through all the years in practice. Attorney Ron Hoffman Came Through again. NO JAIL TIME......I am forever Grateful to Ron and his staff. My daughter learned a lot and is a better person thanks to the relationship we have with Attorney Ron. Joanie who works with Ron is also GREAT.... Thanks Team for all that you have done.
