Expungements

(Erasing Criminal Convictions From Your Record)

An expungement is an approved legal procedure to remove a criminal conviction from your record. This procedure asks the Court to set aside, or withdraw your previously entered plea of guilty or no contest. Once this is permitted, your case is dismissed, which sets the stage for an expungement motion to be filed by your attorney.

Once the petition for expungement is granted by the Court, you would have the benefit of answering "No" when asked "Have you ever been convicted of a criminal charge?"

This clearly saves our clients the risk of being viewed by potential employers unfavorably, not to mention having to justify or explain these often embarrassing situations from one's past.

The prerequisites for filing an expungement are that the person seeking such relief has completed their grant of probation and did not pick up any new violations during that period.

You'll be happy to know that the cost for this procedure is also very reasonable.
